Some members of the Osun State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have rejected the not too long ago launched record of the celebration’s Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, demanding a direct evaluation of its composition.

The celebration officers expressed dissatisfaction with the record, saying it didn’t adequately mirror established celebration pointers, due course of and the precept of inclusiveness required in constituting such an essential marketing campaign construction.

The place was contained in an official rejoinder signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Wole Adunola; Assistant Organising Secretary, Rasheed Adeniji, and Ex-Officio, Abiola Ololade.

Declaring their place, the signatories acknowledged, “We, therefore, reject the list in its present form. We cite the omission of several members of the State Working Committee who were expected to be statutory members of the council.

“The exclusion of the recognised party officials raises serious concerns about consultation, due process, and respect for the party’s established leadership structure.”

The signatories also questioned the composition of the newly released council, adding that it appeared inconsistent with an earlier presidential directive reportedly naming Governor Ademola Adeleke as Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council in Osun State.

According to the statement, “following the directive, Governor Adeleke promptly inaugurated a broad-based campaign team to drive the presidential campaign across the state.”

The officials questioned why another structure had emerged without adequate clarification or alignment with the existing arrangement, adding that the new list would be more understandable if it was intended for a Parliamentary Campaign Council rather than the Presidential Campaign Council.

They stated, “This distinction must be clearly established to avoid confusion, duplication of responsibilities, and unnecessary friction within the party’s campaign structure.”

The signatories maintained that the APC State Executive Committee remained an integral a part of the celebration’s organisational framework and “cannot be sidelined in the constitution of a state-wide campaign council”.

They added that an efficient marketing campaign required “mutual respect, proper coordination, and the active involvement of legitimate party stakeholders.”

The officers additionally requested consultations with related stakeholders, together with the celebration’s National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, and the State Director-General, to make sure correct alignment and efficient coordination.

Reaffirming their assist for Tinubu, the signatories stated, “We remain fully committed to the success of our presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the overall interests of the APC.”

They insisted that the council should respect celebration constructions, recognise professional management and accommodate important stakeholders, including that no professional stakeholder ought to be left behind.

DAILY POST had earlier reported that the Osun APC had appointed its governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, as Director-General of its 2027 Presidential and Parliamentary Campaign Committee.

The state chairman of the celebration, Tajudeen Lawal, in a press release on Monday confirmed the structure of the marketing campaign committee and a 58-member Elders’ Council.

According to Lawal, the appointments adopted the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council by President Bola Tinubu in Abuja on October 14, 2026, and the inauguration of the Osun State Presidential Campaign Council by Governor Ademola Adeleke on October 22.

He stated the committees had been established to strengthen the celebration’s marketing campaign equipment and mobilise votes for Tinubu’s re-election and APC candidates within the 2027 basic elections.
