“Never accept a private apology for public disrespect” — Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule

Veteran actor Dele Odule has advised people against accepting private apologies for public disrespect.
In a post shared on Instagram, he said anyone who embarrasses another person publicly should also take accountability publicly.
“Never accept a private apology for public disrespect, never ever,” he wrote.
According to him, apologising behind closed doors after publicly disrespecting someone does not truly fix the situation, but only makes the person apologising feel better.
He added that respect should be restored in the same place where it was broken.
