Married woman arrested over d3ath of her lover during s3x in Abuja guest house (video)

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested a married woman, Mrs Rulayat Muhammed over the d3ath of her alleged lover at a guest house in Gwarimpa, Abuja.

The FCT Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, made this known while parading the suspect alongside other criminals arrested by the command.

According to the CP, the suspect was said to have gone to Good Samaritan Guest House, 2nd Avenue, Gwarimpa, with her alleged lover to have a good time when the lover suddenly d!ed during s3x.

He said the suspect, upon discovering that her lover had d!ed, took his phone and left the hotel without alerting the management.

The hotel management later discovered the body, but rather than report the matter to the Police, two staff members, identified as Ibrahim Omeiza and Kefat Bitrus, allegedly moved the body from the hotel and dumped it under the Katampe bridge in Kubwa.

“Investigation into the lifeless body of a man found under the Katampe bridge on 26 August 2026 has revealed that the deceased had lodged at a guest house in Gwarimpa with a married woman identified as Mrs Rukayat Muhammed of Garki Area 2,” the police boss said.

The commissioner, while noting that the police had attributed the discovery of the body to kidnapping or “one chance” robbery, said that the police investigation subsequently established that the deceased was the same person whose disappearance had earlier been reported by his family, prompting the police to look more closely into the investigation.

The CP said that during the investigation, the police discovered that the deceased’s mobile phone was missing, thus prompting investigators to track the device and establish his last known communication.

Sanusi said that although the phone was later switched off, investigators were able to identify the last person with whom the deceased had communicated as Rukayat Muhammed of Garki Area, and arrested her.

According to him, further investigation revealed that the suspect was allegedly in a romantic relationship with the deceased and had saved his contact on her phone under the name “Safiyat”.

He disclosed that the investigation further established that Rukayat and the deceased had lodged at Good Samaritan Guest House, 2nd Avenue, Gwarimpa, where they spent some time together.

The police commissioner said the suspect told investigators that she discovered that the deceased was no longer breathing and had d!ed.

“Rather than immediately reporting the incident to the police, the suspect took the deceased’s mobile phone and left the hotel,” Sanusi stated.

He explained that several hours later, after the hotel management could not establish contact with the occupants of the room, access was gained to the room, where the deceased’s lifeless body was discovered.

Rather than reporting their findings to the police, the commissioner said two members of staff of the hotel management Ibrahim Omeiza and Kefat Bitrus, removed the body from the room.

He said they subsequently transported the body to the Kubwa Expressway by Katampe under the bridge and dumped it by the roadside, apparently in an attempt to distance the hotel and its management from the incident.

He said the police investigation had now unravelled a significant part of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body, but stressed that the investigation was still ongoing.

He said the exact cause and circumstances of the deceased’s d3ath had yet to be established, adding that further investigative processes were being undertaken to determine the full facts of the case.

“Anyone found to have played a role in the death or subsequent concealment and abandonment of the body will be made to face the law,” the commissioner stated.

He also warned members of the public against concealing information, obstructing investigations or otherwise undermining law enforcement efforts.

The CP said the case demonstrated the command’s determination to go beyond the surface of incidents and establish the facts through investigation.

He added that the command would continue to pursue all available leads and ensure that anyone found culpable was brought to justice.
