Man fatally assaults spouse’s lover after discovering him in mattress along with her and their children

A California husband allegedly fatally attacked his spouse’s lover in a match of rage after coming residence early from work and discovering the person in his underwear in mattress along with her, alongside their two younger kids.

Ismael Pinedalopez, 34, is accused of fatally stabbing Nicholas Garcia, 28, “multiple times” with a pocketknife within the bed room of his Anaheim residence on Oct. 24, based on the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

The couple’s kids, a 2-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son, had been within the mattress through the assault, prosecutors stated.

Garcia reportedly died on the scene from his wounds. Pinedalopez’s spouse and youngsters weren’t harmed.

“Violence is never the answer, and it is truly heartbreaking that these young children had to witness their father commit such a horrific act of brutality in their own home,” District Attorney Todd Spitzer stated.

Pinedalopez was arrested on the scene and charged with one felony depend of homicide and a felony enhancement for private use of a weapon.

He was arraigned on Tuesday, October 27,  and faces as much as 26 years to life in jail if he’s convicted on all prices.
