2027: 'APM not a part of your Rainbow Coalition' – Makinde hits Wike
The Allied Peoples Movement, APM, and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has fired again on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, over the disclosing of the Rainbow Coalition in Rivers State.
Speaking on the APM South-East Town Hall Meeting on Thursday in Enugu, Makinde mentioned he watched Wike unveiling the coalition and was shocked to listen to him record APM among the many events concerned.
“A few days ago, I saw my good friend, Nyesom Wike, who was unveiling the Rainbow Coalition in Rivers State, and he listed all the political parties in the coalition and mentioned APM. I said, ‘So APM has graduated to be added to the Rainbow Coalition?”’ Makinde said.
The governor accused the ruling party of trying to undermine almost all the opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“They’ve tried to undermine virtually all of the opposition events. They can attempt, pull down posters, disturb the campaigns, and provides individuals cash. We, however, are successful hearts,” he said.
