The Kano state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has forwarded the names of 5 nominees to the Kano state House of Assembly for screening and subsequent appointment as commissioners.

The nominee embrace, Hon. Ibrahim Namadi Dala, Hon. Muktar Ishaq Yakasai and Hon. Sani Lawan Manunfashi.
Others are Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa and Hon. Idris Garba Mustapha.
Some of the ministries that at the moment wouldn’t have commissioners in Kano state embrace the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Youth Development and the Ministry of Higher Education, which has now been merged with the ministry of Education.
