Julius Berger wins triple crowns at Eurocham Nigeria awards
It was a night of celebration and industry acclaim as Julius Berger Nigeria Plc emerged as one of the biggest winners at the Eurocham Nigeria AGM and Gala Awards Night 2026.
The company clinched three major awards in a strong endorsement of its enduring excellence in engineering, infrastructure delivery and human capital development.
The event held at the Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, formed part of the 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM), Gala & Awards Night of Eurocham Nigeria, which brought together business leaders, diplomats, policy makers and captains of industry from across the European-Nigerian business community.
At the gala, Julius Berger secured victories in three highly coveted categories: Construction & Infrastructure; Local Content & Skills Training; and Heavy Machinery & Engineering.
According to a statement by the media unit of the construction engineering company, Thursday, “The awards were determined through a public online voting process initiated by the organisers, making the company’s triple triumph a reflection of the confidence and support it enjoys among stakeholders, industry observers and the wider public.
“The recognition celebrates organisations that have demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation, operational excellence and meaningful contributions to economic development within Nigeria’s business landscape.
“For Julius Berger, the awards represent more than trophies. They are a testament to decades of delivering landmark infrastructure projects, nurturing local talent and maintaining the highest standards of engineering excellence across Nigeria.

Blueprint learnt that, alongside its project delivery record, Julius Berger has continued to invest heavily in skills acquisition, technical training and knowledge transfer programmes designed to strengthen Nigeria’s workforce and deepen local capacity within the construction sector.
Receiving the awards on behalf of the company, Region West Technical Manager, Engr. Christl Thomas, expressed appreciation to Eurocham Nigeria and dedicated the honours to the company’s employees, clients, partners and stakeholders whose support and commitment have contributed to Julius Berger’s continued success.
