The Jigawa state House of Assembly Thursday handed a invoice empowering the state authorities to determine state police, following the growing public demand for enhanced safety throughout the state.
This was acknowledged by the Speaker of the Jigawa state House of Assembly, Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, whereas addressing journalists in Dutse.
He stated the transfer adopted the latest passage of the invoice by the National Assembly, enabling state Houses of Assembly to enact their very own laws on the matter.
He stated the state police initiative would create job alternatives, given the massive variety of unemployed youths within the state.
