If we got intimate 10 times, my ex-husband would ask for a threesome 9.5 times — U.S.-based Nigerian nurse, Sugar opens up on broken marriage

Nigerian-American registered nurse Bukola Akinpelu, popularly known as Nurse Sugar, has opened up about her turbulent marriage, revealing that her former husband repeatedly asked for a threesome during intimate moments.

Speaking during an interview with Ifedayo Agoro, Nurse Sugar said her ex-husband would raise the subject almost every time they were intimate.

“I would say if we got intimate 10 times, he would ask 9.5 times,” she said.

She explained that she would agree whenever he asked, partly because she wanted to end the conversation rather than continue discussing it.

“I would say yes every time that he asked. But because there was no means. Because if I didn’t say yes, it would keep going,” she said.

According to her, the requests were made during intimate moments rather than discussed as a separate matter within the relationship.

Nurse Sugar also described her traditional wedding day as the most humiliating experience she endured during the marriage.

“Of every day that I’ve been humiliated in the relationship, my traditional wedding day, nothing tops it,” she said, adding that some vendors later contacted her to tell her they had witnessed what happened.

She further admitted that she once held her partner by his shirt during an altercation but clarified that she did not hit him.

Nurse Sugar also revealed that her former husband insulted her parents, but she remained in the relationship. She said the situation eventually became a cycle, as she began responding by insulting his family whenever he insulted hers.

“So if you say, ‘This and this is your mom,’ I’ll say, ‘This and this is your mom as well,’” she said.
