Filmmaker Niyi Akinmolayan questions those who blamed filmmakers when Prime and Netflix left Nigeria as Uber also leaves

Niyi Akinmolayan has reacted to Uber’s exit from Nigeria by comparing it to the reaction received when Amazon Prime and Netflix exited Nigeria.
The filmmaker pointed out that filmmakers were unfairly targeted and blamed for Prime and Netflix’s exit.
He then asked if Nigerians would now blame taxi drivers for the exit of Uber.
He wrote: “That thing you people did to filmmakers when Prime left and netflfix cut investment, are you now going to blame drivers for Uber leaving?”
