Ex-finance minister Kemi Adeosun’s husband to be buried August 13
Adeniyi Adeosun, husband of Kemi Adeosun, former minister of
finance, will be buried in Lagos on Thursday, August 13.
Adeosun, 62, died on August 5 in Lagos.
According to the funeral arrangements signed by Wale Adeosun
on behalf of the family, a night of tributes will be held on Wednesday, August
12, at Harbour Point Event Centre, Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event is scheduled to begin at 5pm.
His funeral service will take place the following day at the
Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David, Trinity Towers, Chief
Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Road, Victoria Island, from 10am.
The family designated white as the colour for Wednesday’s
night of tributes, while mourners are expected to wear blue for Thursday’s
funeral service.
Adeosun was described by his family as a beloved son,
brother, husband and father.
The funeral announcement expressed gratitude for the life he
lived and the memories he left behind.
Kemi Adeosun served as minister of finance under former
President Muhammadu Buhari from 2015 to 2018.
