“All has been said. And now, all is done” — Lionel Messi says after retiring from international football

Lionel Messi has bid an emotional farewell after officially announcing his retirement from international football.
The Argentine football icon, 39, shared a heartfelt message, reflecting on his extraordinary career and expressing his gratitude to the country he represented throughout his international journey.
Posting a photo of himself holding the Argentine jersey with the word ‘Gracias’, Messi wrote: “All has been said. And now, all is done. And the only words left… are from the bottom of my heart: Thank you, Argentina.”

Lionel Messi finished his international career with 208 senior caps, the most of any player in the team’s history, with his 126 goals for Argentina.
He won the 2022 World Cup and two Copa Americas during his 21-year spell on the international stage.
Messi, who played his last game for Argentina against Benin on Wednesday night, October 7, created the first two goals before getting on the scoresheet himself in his country’s 3- 0 win.
