“If I come to a man’s house and see fake Gucci bedsheets or Louis Vuitton curtains, I’ll just leave” — Nigerian feminist Obidi

Nigerian feminist Obidi has shared her thoughts on the kind of home decor she finds unattractive in men.

In a video shared online, Obidi said she would leave a man’s house if she saw fake designer items such as Gucci bedsheets, rugs or Louis Vuitton curtains.

She said seeing such items would make her suspect that the man is a Y@hoo boy or that “something is wrong” with him.

Obidi also criticised the use of excessive gold-coloured furniture and interior decor, describing the style as unattractive.

She said she prefers a minimalist and beautiful home with simple furniture rather than what she described as a “golden and royal” interior.

She added that she would not take a man seriously if his bedroom had fake designer bedsheets and blue LED lights that made the room look like a disco hall.
