Tragedy struck in Ondo state weekend as three children were found dead beside a small river on a farm after they were reported missing.
The children had reportedly accompanied their father, Samuel Jonah, to the farm before leaving for home.
However, concern arose when Jonah returned home and discovered that the children were missing.
A search was subsequently launched to locate them.
The search resulted in tears when the bodies of the three children were discovered near the bank of a small river on the farm.
The circumstances surrounding their death remain unclear as of press time.
The family and community are in grief.
The Ondo state Police Command confirmed the incident, saying an investigation had commenced to establish what happened to the children and determine the circumstances leading to their deaths.
