Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura (OD) has declared that his emergence as the winner of the Zamfara North Senatorial District main election is genuine and was performed by the majority of members of the election panel despatched by the APC National Headquarters.

Addressing newsmen at his nation residence in Kaura Namoda on Tuesday, Senator Tijjani alleged that the Chairman of the Panel, Dr. Auwal Abdullahi Aliyu, was hijacked by some anti-democratic parts and taken to an unknown vacation spot.

According to him, the Panel Chairman was kidnapped and he single-handedly introduced a purported end result declaring Senator Sahabi Ya’u Kaura as winner, whereas the majority of the panel members collectively collated the genuine outcomes and formally declared him (Tijjani Yahaya Kaura) as the winner.
