Veteran actor Yinka Quadri broke down in tears on Monday as his longtime colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, was laid to rest in Ilaro, Ogun State.

Quadri was among the prominent figures in the Yoruba film industry who converged on the late actor’s hometown to pay their final respects.

The two stars shared a decades-long relationship dating back to the early days of indigenous-language cinema.

Quadri was also among the colleagues who rallied around Hassan during his battle with stage-four cancer, visiting him and making public appeals for support.
