WATCH: Pentagon Releases New UFO Files Featuring Mysterious Six Pointed Object Over Yellow Sea

The Pentagon has unveiled declassified files on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), including a video of a star-shaped object flying over the Yellow Sea in 2025.

The Pentagon has released a new batch of declassified Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) files, including a video showing a mysterious six pointed object flying over the Yellow Sea in East Asia during 2025.

The footage, which has quickly gained attention online after being shared by several news and social media accounts, appears to show a star shaped object moving through the sky while being tracked by military sensors. The object remains unidentified in the official release, adding to the growing list of unresolved UAP cases examined by the US Department of Defense.

Latest Pentagon UAP release

The newly released footage is part of the US government’s broader effort to increase transparency around military encounters with unidentified aerial objects. The Pentagon’s All domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), which investigates reports of UAP sightings, has been publishing declassified videos, photographs and documents as part of its ongoing review process.

Officials have stressed that the release of these files does not indicate the objects are extraterrestrial. Instead, they remain categorised as “unresolved” because investigators lack sufficient evidence to determine their exact nature.

What does the video show?

The clip, lasting roughly 15 to 16 seconds, captures a distinct object with a multi pointed, star like appearance moving over the Yellow Sea. Military tracking markers remain locked onto the object throughout the recording, suggesting it was actively monitored by defence systems.

The grey scale footage, believed to have been captured using infrared or electro optical sensors, shows the object against a largely featureless background typical of surveillance imagery collected over open water or through atmospheric haze.

While many viewers have described it as six pointed, others believe the object’s appearance changes between frames, making it resemble an eight pointed shape depending on the viewing angle and image quality.

Possible explanations

Although the footage has fuelled speculation online, experts caution that there are several conventional explanations that could account for the object’s unusual appearance.

Optical effects created by camera lenses, diffraction patterns, infrared imaging artefacts, sensor glitches or tracking distortions can all produce geometric shapes that resemble stars or hexagons. Similar visual effects have been documented in previous military recordings.

Investigators also continue to examine whether such objects could be drones, balloons, aircraft or other man made systems observed under unusual viewing conditions.

Yellow Sea remains an area of interest

The Yellow Sea has appeared in previous UAP reports released by US authorities. Several earlier incidents involving spherical and unidentified objects were also reported in the region, making it one of several areas where military personnel have documented unexplained aerial observations.

However, Pentagon officials have not suggested any connection between the newly released footage and previous sightings.

No evidence of extraterrestrial activity

The latest disclosure comes as public interest in UAP investigations continues to grow. While many cases remain unresolved, US defence officials have repeatedly stated that there is no verified evidence linking the released footage to extraterrestrial technology.

The Pentagon says AARO will continue reviewing reports using scientific analysis and intelligence assessments, with additional UAP files expected to be released as more material completes the declassification process.

For now, the six pointed object recorded over the Yellow Sea joins a growing archive of military UAP encounters that remain officially unexplained.
