VIDEO: Sanwo-Olu joins fashions on runway at Lagos Fashion Week
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos governor, walked the runway
alongside fashions on the 2026 Lagos Fashion Week (LFW).
The governor was styled by Ugo Monye in regal off-white
apparel that seemed like a seamless mix of a caftan and a kimono, with a beige
fedora finishing the breezy but formal ensemble.
Sanwo-Olu strided throughout the runway with swagger. The
governor flashed peace indicators right here and a realizing nod there on the applauding
crowd within the corridor.
The 2026 LFW, tagged “CRAFTED: Heritage”, started final
Wednesday on the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos and can wrap up on Sunday.
