VIDEO: El-Rufai Ok!sses Wife as Court Orders Him to Defend Wiretapping Charge

There was a light drama on the Federal High Court in Abuja on
Monday as former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai arrived for his
wiretapping trial.

 

The former governor ok!ssed his spouse earlier than coming into the
courtroom.

El-Rufai was seen embracing and ok!ssing his spouse, drawing
consideration from legal professionals and supporters on the courtroom premises.

El-Rufai is going through trial for
allegedly intercepting the cellphone calls of the National Security Adviser, NSA,
Nuhu Ribadu.

The courtroom adjourned the case to November 25, 2026, for
El-Rufai to open his defence, after dismissing his no-case submission.

Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, in a ruling on Monday, held that
the Department of State Services, DSS, has supplied sufficient proof to require
the ex-governor to enter his defence.

The choose, subsequently, ordered El-Rufai, the only real defendant
within the cost, to defend himself.
