2027: Fubara fingers over APC flag to Wike’s ally Chinda

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has handed over the All Progressives Congress, APC, flag to the governorship candidate of the occasion, Ogundu Kingsley Chinda, forward of the 2027 election.

The governor handed over the flag on Tuesday on the unveiling of the Rainbow Coalition’s candidates in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.

The improvement comes amid a political realignment involving Fubara, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, and another political figures in Rivers State.

It was gathered that political leaders within the state search to consolidate their positions forward of the 2027 elections after Fubara’s public declaration of help for President Bola Tinubu and the Rainbow Coalition.

While handing over the flag on the occasion, Fubara urged his supporters to again the coalition and its candidates, figuring out Chinda as his most well-liked alternative for the governorship.

“We have made peace within the state and I’m supporting the Rainbow Coalition. President Bola Tinubu is our president and is the one which we’re supporting.
