Tukur Babangida takes chair of Kano state sports board

The former Acting Chairman of the Kano State Sports Commission, Dr. Murtala Musa, has handed over the reins of the Commission to the newly appointed Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Babangida.

The  handover ceremony held at the Commission’s headquarters.

In his speech, Dr. Murtala Musa thanked His Excellency the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the opportunity he gave him to lead the Commission, and commended the leaders and staff for the support and cooperation they gave him during his tenure.

Taking charge, Alhaji Tukur Babangida commended the former Acting chairman for his contributions, promising to continue to build on the achievements made to develop sports in Kano State.
