‘Tinubu Went to University Without Attending Primary, Sec Schools’ – Dino Melaye

Former Kogi West senator, Dino Melaye has ridiculed President Bola Tinubu, claiming he went straight to university without attending primary or secondary school.

Speaking in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Melaye urged the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to probe the president’s academic history.

His remarks followed the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) publication of Tinubu’s documents for the 2027 election, which omitted details of his early education.

Melaye said:“The President of this country filled an INEC form. He’s the most brilliant person on earth. He went to university straight without attending primary and secondary schools. What are we saying about it? What questions are we asking about this?”

He challenged NBA members across state branches to take proactive action rather than leaving accountability solely to the national leadership.

“The NBA must return to being the watchdog and conscience of Nigeria. Leadership will not do it until every one of us starts asking questions and holding leaders accountable,” Melaye added.
