In a recent video on Celebration Tv on Monday, July 20th 2026, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has challenged the popular idea of eating three meals a day, urging Christians to focus more on purpose and spiritual discipline than on satisfying their physical appetites.

Speaking during a sermon, Suleman used humour and wordplay to question the expression “three square meals,” arguing that excessive attention to food can distract believers from more important spiritual pursuits.

“How can somebody say money tonight? There is nothing like three square meals for me. My cooks are here. They don’t give me three square meals. Whoever invented that three-square thing needs to be flogged,” he said.
