‘The world is watching’ – Davido reacts to streamer Davrel’s apology [VIDEO]
Nigerian Afrobeat star, Davido, has reacted to the public apology by his official streamer, Davrel.
DAILY POST reports that Davrel was criticised for allegedly disrespecting Davido over the weekend during the burial ceremony of Israel DMW ‘s late father in Edo State.
A video from the event showed Davrel sitting on a chair reportedly reserved for Davido, with one of his legs placed on the seat, while the singer was still standing before someone approached Davrel to vacate the chair.
Reacting to the clip, Davido’s fans, known as the 30 Billion Gang, or 30BG, dragged Davrel on social media and accused him of disrespecting the singer.
Speaking amid the backlash in a video online, the streamer tendered a public apology to Davido’s fanbase.
Reacting to the apology in the comments section, Davido advised Davrel to be smarter now that he has joined his crew, noting that the world is watching him.
“Good job son. Move better n be smarter the world is watching u now. love u”, Davido wrote.
