Veteran actress Toyin Adewale says the happiest day of her life was giving birth to her first child, particularly because as the only child of her mother, she worried deeply about whether she would be able to have children of her own.

Speaking on Talk to B.H., she recalled how the celebration for that first birth took the entire street by surprise, with chairs lined up from house number one all the way to house number forty. She said her mother, who had only had her, was overjoyed and the occasion became a community event.
