Terrifying satellite images expose Chinese plans to bomb US warships

Recent satellite photography has revealed that Xi Jinping’s military is building precise lookalikes of U.S. aircraft carriers and destroyers for missile-target practice.

These covert plans to destroy American naval vessels are being actively developed deep within the isolated Taklamakan Desert.

Anticipating an impending conflict against Taiwan and, in turn, Washington as well, if the US steps in to defend the island, preparations are actively underway. To maximize precision, Beijing uses replicas nearly identical to American warships, enabling it to simulate attacks with extreme accuracy.

Although it remains uncertain whether Washington would officially defend Taiwan during an attack, the majority of experts agree that the US would probably step in. Without American assistance, the self-governed island would face severe difficulties in maintaining its autonomy.

Furthermore, indications that China’s People’s Liberation Army is considering an assault on the capital have emerged, as they have built to-scale replicas of important government buildings and Taiwan’s presidential office.

First detected in February, a three-dimensional replica of a US Arleigh Burke-class destroyer has been taking shape in a vast desert, nestled between two high, rugged mountain ranges.

The detailed mock-up closely mimics the American original, incorporating a complete mast and even elements of its radar technology.

Now, three months later, the construction seems nearly complete, though its location 1,678 miles away from water means it is highly unlikely to ever go to sea.

Damien Symon, a geo-intelligence researcher at the AI-analysis firm The Intel Lab who was first to identify several of the maritime models, told the Telegraph that the accuracy of the replicas “signals a highly specific focus on potential adversaries rather than generic capability building.”

Beyond reproducing US warships, engineers in Beijing are actively constructing models of fighter jets, naval bases, and Taiwanese presidential buildings. As the president continues preparations to seize the strategic Pacific island democracy, Beijing has been using these mock-ups to test its ever-increasing stockpile of long-range weapons and new AI systems.

The United States stations more than 55,000 troops in Japan under a mutual security treaty, marking its largest military presence outside American borders. In the event that Washington intervenes in a crisis over Taiwan, these personnel would be instrumental. Destroyer Squadron 15 currently maintains 10 Arleigh Burke-class ships permanently stationed at Yokosuka.

“It’s one of the most important US bases. If China attacked Taiwan, the Yokosuka Naval Base would presumably be involved, so they include a model of Yokosuka for anti-access and area denial drills,” Lu Li-shih, a former lieutenant commander in Taiwan’s navy, told The Telegraph.

In addition to practical military exercises, specialists point out that constructing these physical mock-ups serves as a signaling tool directed at any prospective international adversaries.
