SDP’s Adebayo Demands APC Expel Fadahunsi Over Violent Remarks
Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to immediately expel Senator Francis Fadahunsi of Osun East following his controversial call for supporters to kill members of the Accord Party.
Appearing on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Thursday, Adebayo condemned the senator’s remarks and denounced the use of violence and inflammatory language in politics.
“I condemn the statement credited to the Senator, and I condemn the general use of violence in public life,” he said.
Adebayo insisted that the APC must take decisive action against Fadahunsi, warning that failure to do so would make the party collectively responsible.
He also pressed law enforcement to act swiftly, saying the public should see the senator brought before a court as proof of accountability.
The call comes after a viral video showed Fadahunsi urging his supporters to attack Accord Party members ahead of the August 15, 2026 Osun governorship election, sparking widespread outrage.
