Rotimi Amaechi Said, ‘You Were Abusing Me,’ And I Replied, ‘No, I Did Not Abuse You’ -Momodu
In a recent interview on Nevon HQ, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, Dele Momodu, an ADC chieftain, reflected on his relationships with political leaders, emphasizing that genuine friendship should be built on honesty rather than flattery.
Momodu explained that throughout his career as a journalist and public commentator, he has maintained a reputation for expressing his views candidly, even when those opinions are unpopular. According to him, constructive criticism should never be mistaken for personal attacks.
Speaking during the interview, Momodu stated, “Rotimi Amaechi said, ‘You were abusing me,’ and I replied, ‘No, I did not abuse you; I only told you the truth.'”
