Reality TV star Zari responds to reactions over her new facial appearance, confirms she had a temporal lift

Reality TV star Zari Hassan has addressed the online reactions to her recent appearance after her face became a hot topic on social media.

In a video, Zari explained that while her makeup made the changes look more dramatic, she also underwent a temporal lift, a cosmetic procedure around the eye area. She clarified that she did not have a full facelift.

According to her, the viral look was exaggerated by a new makeup style her makeup artist wanted to try, particularly the “fox eye” technique.

“I’m not gatekeeping,” she said, adding that she has always been beautiful and simply chose to enhance her appearance as she gets older.

Zari also encouraged people who want cosmetic enhancements to do what makes them feel confident, while urging critics to stop making her face a national conversation. She ended the video by showing her face without makeup, insisting the dramatic look that sparked reactions was largely due to makeup rather than surgery.
