Presidency: Is Atiku nonetheless contesting, Peter hasn't lied to Nigerians in two days – Lere Olayinka

Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, Lere Olayinka, on Tuesday requested if the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, remains to be contesting for the presidency.

Olayinka made the comment whereas describing Atiku as “Wole Wole Kachalla,” forward of the January 16, 2027 presidential election.

Posting on X, the minister’s spokesman additionally puzzled why the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has not “lied” to Nigerians prior to now two days.

He wrote: “Abeg, is Kachalla Wole Wole Atiku Abubakar still contesting this January 16, 2027 presidential election? E reach make person ask.

This comes as Atiku’s aides have been attacking President Bola Tinubu over his non secular pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

As a part of his non secular pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, Tinubu was granted the uncommon privilege of coming into the Holy Kaaba to hope and carry out Umrah.

This had led to combined reactions from some Nigerians who claimed that Tinubu is the primary Nigerian president to enter the Kaaba.

But Atiku’s spokesman, Phrank Shaibu claimed that the previous vice chairman financially bankrolled Tinubu’s first-ever journey to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
