Peter Obi Meets Swiss Ambassador to Nigeria Reveals Discussion Details
Peter Obi, Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, on Tuesday met with Swiss Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Patrick Egloff.
Sharing details of the discussion on his verified X handle on Wednesday, Obi said the meeting focused on strengthening development partnerships between Nigeria and Switzerland.
The discussion centred on Nigeria’s developmental priorities, particularly education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation.
Obi thanked the Swiss Confederation for its support in economic, cultural, humanitarian, and peace-building initiatives, especially in Nigeria’s North-East.
“Building stronger partnerships founded on shared values and a commitment to human development remains essential to creating a more prosperous and inclusive Nigeria,” he stated.
The engagement reflects Obi’s ongoing advocacy for international collaboration on key national development issues.
