Panic as Biblical swarm of locusts takes over skies in horror apocalyptic scenes

Millions of locusts stormed southern Russia on Wednesday, conquering roads and filling the sky as the mysterious invasion inflicted considerable harm on valuable farmland.

The swarm descended upon the Kizlyar district in the Republic of Dagestan, an area with a history of deadly insect infestations that sometimes can reduce visibility and put motorists’ lives in danger, darkening the skies.

Disturbing footage showed locusts surrounding vehicles on the road as they tried to trudge on during the eerily biblical event.

X users watching clips of the apocalyptic scene said it resembled the 10 plagues God cast on the Egyptians in the biblical story of Exodus.

“Looks like one of the 10 plagues,” one X user wrote.

“It’s all gone Biblical, maaannn…” another added

A third person simply warned: “Biblical.”

The insect hordes are reportedly attacking the surrounding agricultural land as authorities struggle to keep the swarm contained. Reports say the emergency is steadily escalating.
