Our family not in politics for money, we’ve generational wealth – Gov Adeleke’s son, B-Red
B-Red, a singer and son of the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has claimed that his father and other family members, are not in politics for financial benefits.
The singer claimed that his family already has generational wealth, insisting that his father and other relatives were in politics to ‘help people.’
Speaking during an interview on the Echo Room podcast, B-Red claimed he is confident that Nigeria will improve drastically if his father becomes the president someday.
He said: “If my dad, Governor Ademola Adeleke, becomes the President of Nigeria, things will improve drastically. We don’t need politics for money; we have been rich for a long time. My family is only in politics to help. But I don’t want my dad to be President because the pressure will be too much,” he stated.
The Adeleke family has produced two Governors and Senators in the persons of the late Isiaka Adeleke and the current Governor, Ademola Adeleke.
Several members of the family, including famous Afrobeats singer Davido, hold key positions in Governor Adeleke’s government.
