Ondo businessman takes personal life after releasing video about his household, enterprise and can

A outstanding businessman, Akinbolusere Kayode, has allegedly taken his personal life in Ondo State hours after he launched an emotional video during which he spoke about challenges confronting his household and enterprise.

The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday night, October 28, 2026 at House Estate, Ondo City.

The deceased, popularly generally known as Tolufe, was a well known businessman and actual property proprietor within the metropolis.

Kayode allegedly drank bottles of Sniper insecticide at his residence.

He was reportedly rushed to Ondo General Hospital, the place he was confirmed deceased.

Before he took the drastic motion, Kayode recorded an emotional video during which he addressed his household, his enterprise struggles and his choice to will all his properties to his spouse, Akinbolusere Esther, and his three Canada-based youngsters.

The businessman famous that he made the choice with out stress, acknowledging his spouse’s function all through his life.

“I am doing this video on behalf of my family. I, Akinbolusere Kayode, am doing my will on my properties. I am doing this on my own; nobody put pressure on me. I woke up and left for work, leaving my family at home,” he acknowledged.

“The first and second machines I was using at work developed a fault. I was imagining what was happening. When I started my business, I started from scratch and was very transparent about it. My wife knew how I suffered. She didn’t trouble me.

“I will all my properties to my wife, Akinbolusere Esther, who hails from Ekiti, and my three children who are in Canada.“

“My wife stood by me when I had nothing and never for once wronged me. She was very supportive when I had nothing, especially when I was working as a barber. I was the one who destroyed everything with carelessness.”
