Edo North senator, Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday blamed
former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the African Democratic Congress, ADC,
presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for the closure of industries in
Nigeria.

Oshiomhole mentioned Obasanjo and Atiku’s administration was
answerable for the closure of industries like Michelin and Dunlop, and turning
Nigeria into an importing nation.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain made the declare
throughout the APC presidential marketing campaign rally in Ekiti State.

He urged the folks of the state to vote for President Bola
Tinubu in 2027, stressing that the present administration has accepted a brand new
minimal wage for staff.

According to Oshiomhole: “Atiku Abubakar as Vice
President was crying on tv that his authorities and his oga, Obasanjo,
that they spent $16 billion on energy. So you ask Atiku what number of extra US {dollars}
do you want?

“I perceive that Atiku is lamenting about
unemployment, who closed down Nigerian industries? Who closed down Michelin?
Who closed down Dunlop? Who lowered Nigeria to importer of every thing from
underwear to socks? It was finished by the federal government and social gathering which Atiku
belonged to.”
