Nigerian envoy, Danlami Ibrahim presents letters of credence to Somalia President
Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Kenya and Somalia, Ambassador Danlami Ibrahim, has presented his Letters of Credence to the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Ibrahim presented the credentials to President Mohamud at Villa Somalia in Mogadishu.
The development was disclosed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement posted on its official handle on Wednesday.
The statement read: “The High Commissioner-Designate of Nigeria to Kenya, with concurrent accreditation to Somalia, Ambassador Danlami Ibrahim, has presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, at the Villa Somalia in Mogadishu.
“During the ceremony, the Nigerian Principal Envoy conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to President Mohamud of Somalia and reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Somalia.”
