N39bn Coc@ine Seizure: NDLEA Ordered to Produce KC Luxury in Court
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has directed the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to present Afolabi Kazeem Micheal, popularly known as KC Luxury, before it.
The ruling, delivered on Thursday, came after the NDLEA failed to formally charge or arraign the Lagos socialite despite keeping him in custody for 14 days.
KC Luxury was arrested on August 18, 2026, at Lagos airport while allegedly attempting to flee to Paris. His arrest followed the interception of a 184.5kg c0caine consignment valued at about ₦39 billion.
The order was granted following an ex parte application filed by his counsel, A. Labi-Lawal, SAN, under the Fundamental Rights Enforcement Procedure Rules, 2009.
