A mother of one, Emmanuel Chinenyenwa, has spoken about the disappearance of her husband after he travelled to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire in search of a better life for their family.

In an interview with PUNCH, she said she got married to Emmanuel Ajuruchukwu in May 2023 in a traditional ceremony and they have a son together.

She explained that her husband left Nigeria on March 15, 2024, saying he was travelling to Abidjan to hustle and support the family.

According to her, he was not fully honest about his travel plans. He first told her he was going to Senegal, but later said he was actually in Abidjan. He explained that he hid the real destination because he believed she would not agree to the trip.

She said she was not angry about the situation and continued to pray for his success.
