Lagos man takes personal life after his lover referred to as off their relationship

A person recognized merely as Abiodun has died by suicide within the Idimu space of Lagos State, following an alleged disagreement along with his lover over their relationship.

Punch stories that the incident occurred within the Ire Akari space of the group on Saturday, October 31, after his longtime girlfriend reportedly advised him she was not fascinated about persevering with their relationship.

It was gathered that Abiodun, mentioned to be in his early 30s, was arguing with the yet-to-be-identified lady when she introduced her choice to finish the connection.

Disturbed by the event, he reportedly drank the contents of an insecticide he was holding in his hand.

A resident of the world, who spoke on situation of anonymity, mentioned Abiodun was rushed to a hospital on Powerline Road, the place he later died.

“He was having issues with his girlfriend, and it later resulted in an argument on Saturday evening. She eventually told him that she was no longer interested in the relationship and stepped out of the house. By the time she returned, Abiodun had already consumed insecticide. He was rushed to a hospital on Powerline Road, where he later died,” the resident mentioned

The supply added that Abiodun’s mom was instantly alerted and made efforts to safe medical consideration for him.

“His mother works at a supermarket in the area and tried all she could to ensure that he was revived. She was alerted by neighbours who had already rushed him to the hospital. She thereafter tried to raise money to pay for the required medical expenses.

It was when she returned to the hospital with the recommended drugs on Sunday morning that she was informed of his death,” the supply disclosed.

The state police command is but to touch upon this improvement.
