Lady recounts ordeal after reportedly being turned back in Doha while travelling to Canada with a Nigerian passport
A Nigerian lady has shared her heartbreaking experience after she was reportedly denied boarding during a stopover in Doha while travelling to Canada.
In a video, she said she initially thought the situation was a misunderstanding until she was informed that she would have to return to Nigeria.
According to her, airline officials questioned her about the amount of cash she was carrying, her luggage and what she did for a living before informing her that she could not continue her journey.
She revealed that she had to pay for a hotel in Doha and also purchase tickets back to Nigeria.
Describing the experience as devastating, she said it felt like she had been deported, even though she was simply sent back before reaching her final destination.
