Kuwait Navy Vessel Hit, Four Troops Injured; Explosions Rock Iran's 388th Brigade Base

Kuwait has confirmed that one of its navy vessels was struck during the latest Iranian attacks, injuring four military personnel, as the regional conflict widened further.

The Middle East conflict expanded further on Monday after Kuwait confirmed that one of its naval vessels was struck during the latest wave of Iranian attacks, leaving four military personnel injured. The announcement came as separate reports emerged from southeastern Iran claiming explosions had struck the Iranian Army’s 388th Armoured Infantry Brigade base in Bompor, with unverified reports of military casualties.

Kuwait’s armed forces said the injured sailors received immediate medical treatment and are in stable condition. The military added that the country successfully intercepted one ballistic missile, five cruise missiles and 33 drones during the latest barrage, which targeted several vital installations and civilian facilities, while falling debris caused material damage in parts of the country.

In an official statement, the Kuwaiti military said its air defence network responded to a complex attack involving multiple aerial threats. Besides confirming damage to one navy vessel, officials said security forces prevented several incoming missiles and drones from reaching their intended targets.

The latest attack marks another expansion of hostilities beyond Iran and Israel, with Gulf states increasingly facing direct risks as military operations continue across the region. Kuwait did not identify the precise location where its naval vessel was struck or disclose the extent of the damage sustained.

Meanwhile, explosions were reported at the Iranian Army’s 388th Armoured Infantry Brigade base in Bompor. Initial reports indicated the military installation had come under attack, although the circumstances surrounding the strike remain unclear.

According to emerging local reports, at least 10 Iranian soldiers were killed and another 15 were injured. However, those casualty figures have not been independently verified, and Iranian authorities had not issued any official confirmation or statement regarding the reported attack at the time of publication.

The reported strike comes as military operations continue across multiple parts of Iran, with air defence sites, military installations and critical infrastructure increasingly coming under attack.
