The Kaduna State Government has warned suspected criminals against vandalizing critical national assets in the state, saying they will face the consequences if they continue.

The warning was given by the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr Sule Shuaibu, during an inspection tour of the bridge connecting Rabah Road in Kaduna North Local Government Area to Rigasa in Igabi Local Government Area to assess the extent of the damage caused by vandals.

According to him, the administration of Governor Uba Sani would not tolerate any act of vandalism or destruction of government property, adding that all necessary measures are being taken to identify and prosecute those responsible for the damage.

He called on residents to remain vigilant and report anyone found vandalizing or destroying public infrastructure, noting that protecting government property is a collective responsibility and essential for the development of the state.
