During an interview with Arise News on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Adewole Adebayo, presidential candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), shared his perspectives regarding the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.

Recently, several political leaders have scampered across various political parties in a search for a viable platform to contest the forthcoming 2027 presidential polls.

However, during the interview, the SDP presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, addressed the possibility of a Muslim-Muskim presidential ticket in the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.

He mentioned that if anyone hopes for the Muslim-Muslim ticket of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, then such an individual will even be lucky to have one of the politicians remaining in government after the election.
