A 36-year-old Zambian man, Trevor Banda, to the Chelstone Local Court in Lusaka that his spouse is sleeping with different males as a result of she will get aroused earlier than he touches her.

Trevor was dragged to courtroom by his spouse, Loveness Mukwato, 23, on allegations that he cheated on her along with her cousin and one other lady.

But because the spouse was giving her testimony, Trevor shocked all the gallery when he interrupted her and claimed that his behaviour was a results of his spouse’s slipperiness, accusing her of getting moist earlier than he touches her.

He stated this made him uncomfortable, making him suspect that his spouse is sleeping with different males as a result of he believed {that a} lady ought to solely be prepared as soon as she is touched.

“Your Honour, I feel she is sleeping with other men because she gets wet before I touch her. I cannot continue with such a woman,” he stated.

“Moreover, I once caught her on a phone call with another man who told me she said I was only her baby daddy and not her husband.

Trevor said he married Loveness in 2019 but started having problems in 2024 when she got a job at one of the supermarkets in Lusaka, famous for its cheap products.

According to him, after getting the job, Loveness put herself on the list for merchandise and started selling.

“When she bought a job, she began going out to golf equipment. This prompted us to separate as a result of I could not stand that behaviour. At one level, our arguments bought so critical that she lastly confessed that she had a boyfriend who was making extra money than me. She then stopped giving me an opportunity to assist our baby,” he narrated.

In her testimony, Loveness claimed that she was nothing but a loyal wife who had simply grown tired of calls from her husband’s side chick, whom she identified as Patricia, whom and accused of calling her every day, threatening to kill her if she did not stay away from Trevor.

“After a number of calls from the girlfriend, I bought scared and, to avoid wasting my life, I’ve come right here to finish this marriage as a result of the girlfriend cannot cease calling me. Another downside is that I as soon as discovered this man on prime of my cousin, days after I had a miscarriage,” she lamented.

Magistrate Charity Milambo observed that the couple lacked love for each other and granted them a divorce.

“It appears you do not worth one another. Marriage isn’t for the younger. The woman bought married when she was too younger, on the age of 16, and also you knew that you just have been older than her once you married her. No upkeep for the spouse as a result of even you, as a girl, have been involving your self in lots of issues even once you knew you have been married.
