Popular Fuji musician Saheed Okunola, famously known as Saheed Osupa, has admitted to using voodoo in his personal life, saying it has helped him achieve success and advance in his career. He made the revelation while performing at the 52nd-year celebration of veteran actor Fatai Odua, also called Lalude, in an event that later gained attention online.

During the performance, Osupa noticed his backup singers struggling to keep up with him and advised them to use voodoo to help remember their lines and maintain the rhythm. He clarified that the practice was intended to enhance personal focus and well-being, not for fetish purposes.

Osupa also stated that he had once been advised to deny using supernatural powers, often referred to as juju, in public.
