Gov Fubara Appoints Six New Permanent Secretaries in Rivers
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointment of six new Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr. Inyingi S. I. Brown, who confirmed that the appointees will be sworn in today, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the State Executive Council Chambers.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:
Freddy Ndigbara
Fortune Akpila
Promise Oguzie
Ibisoye Lolomari Nwankwo
Ibiyemiebara Joseph Uzoma
Mercy Dagogo Iboroma
According to the statement, the appointees are expected to be seated by 12 noon for the swearing-in ceremony, which will be presided over by Governor Fubara.
