Gov Adeleke will Campaign for Tinubu’s Re-Election – APC National Secretary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretary, Dr. Ajibola Basiru, has revealed that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke will actively campaign for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 polls.

Speaking to journalists after a courtesy visit to the governor in Osogbo, Basiru said Adeleke not only endorsed Tinubu for a second term but also pledged to join the campaign trail.

“The governor has said that not only is he endorsing the president, but he will also be on the field to campaign vigorously for President Bola Tinubu in the January 16 presidential election,” Basiru stated.

Basiru noted that cooperation between APC and Accord in Osun could deliver about 1.5 million votes for Tinubu.

He urged APC members to close ranks and work together to secure victory. Basiru encouraged residents and groups like the National Union of Road Transport Workers to resolve disputes peacefully and focus on development.

He highlighted APC’s 46% vote share in the last governorship election, stressing that combined efforts with Accord would strengthen Tinubu’s chances.

Basiru emphasized that post-election divisions should not hinder Osun’s progress, urging all stakeholders to prioritize peace and infrastructure development.
