The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Ahmed Sanusi, Thursday, received a delegation lead by the Commander, Army Headquarters Garrison (AHQ Garrison), Major General JR Lar, at the FCT Police Command Headquarters, Abuja.
This is as both senior officers reaffirmed commitment to inter-agency synergy towards sustaining the security of the FCT. and the promotion of camaraderie among personnel of both formations..
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the command, SP Josephine Adeh, in a press statement in Abuja, said: “During the visit, the Commander acknowledged the existing synergy between the FCT Police Command and the Army Garrison and solicited continued cooperation in intelligence sharing, joint operations and the promotion of camaraderie among personnel of both formations.”
She said responding, CP Sanusi assured the Commander of the Nigeria Police Force’s full support and cooperation towards sustaining the security of the FCT.
The Police boss further reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening the existing partnership and fostering greater synergy between both formations, in the discharge of their official responsibilities.
The PPRO said the meeting concluded with an exchange of goodwill, contact details and a group photograph.
