Facebook down LIVE: Instagram and Facebook apps down as users report account issues
Facebook and Instagram are reportedly down as thousands of users report issues with their accounts. A huge spike of problem reports has been detected on DownDetector, a website that monitors technical outages.
Thousands of users have reported issues in the UK, as well as in Spain and the US among other countries. One UK Facebook user wrote on Downdetector: “All Meta apps are down as of 1pm GMT”.
