Delta court begins trial of woman accused of murdering her husband and his side chick

The trial of Ufuoma Famous, a girl accused of murdering her husband, Famous Gideon, and her husband’s facet chick, Mrs Edoh, in addition to trying to homicide a 3rd particular person, Felicia, who got here to intervene has commenced on the Delta State High Court, Ughelli Judicial Division presided over by Justice Sunny Adolor.

The Delta State Ministry of Justice made this identified in an announcement issued on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

LIB reported that the girl, mom of two, a local of Isoko murdered her husband due to his further marital affairs with one other lady.

At the listening to, the prosecution crew, led by Peter Daubry, Esq., a Deputy Director within the Delta State Ministry of Justice, referred to as two witnesses to testify in help of its case, together with the defendant’s son.

The defendant is standing trial on a three-count cost. Count One alleges that she murdered her husband, Famous Gideon, whereas Count Two accuses her of murdering Mrs Edoh. In Count Three, she is alleged to have tried to homicide Felicia.

The alleged offences reportedly occurred in January 2026 at Ighrovie, Ughelli, Delta State.

During the proceedings, the defendant’s son testified as one of many prosecution witnesses, giving proof regarding the allegations in opposition to his mom.

Following the testimonies of the 2 witnesses, the court docket adjourned the case to November 5, 2026, for continuation of the prosecution’s case.
